There were angry scenes in Randburg city centre following the shooting of a Nigerian national on Friday.The man was shot and killed, allegedly by police, just a few hours ago.The dead man's friends say they know the alleged killer.An argument apparently sparked the attack.Police say they're investigating but have referred questions to the Independent Police Investigative Directorate.
A crowd gathered at the scene soon after the incident and shouted, "We know who the killer is."He went outside. Within two to three minutes they heard some gun shots. All of them rushed out and the guy that shot him was a police officer. People that know him... but we don’t know the reason," said Ephraim Onodu of the Nigerian Union in South Africa.
