I have just received a report from the National Assembly that the proposed inauguration of the 8th Assembly has been postponed due to reasons that will be disclosed later.

Duchess of Cambridge,Kate Middleton gives birth to a baby girl

Her Royal Highness,The Duchess of Cambridge,Kate Middleton was safely delivered of a Baby Girl at 8.34am in a London Hospital.This was announced by Kensington Palace twitter.
The baby weighs 8lbs 3oz.  The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.

INEC postpones 2015 general elections to March 28 and April 11

The Independent National Electoral Commission has announced a shift in the 2015 general election earlier scheduled for February 14 and 28.

Announcing the postponement at a press conference in Abuja on Saturday night, the chairman of the Commission, Attahiru Jega, said the presidential and national assembly elections will now hold on March 28 while the governorship and state assemblies election will take place on April 11.

AirAsia plane with 161 aboard missing after take off

An AirAsia plane with 161 people aboard lost contact with ground control on Sunday after takeoff from Indonesia on the way to Singapore, and search and rescue operations were under way.

The plane lost communication with Jakarta's air traffic control at 07:24, about an hour before it was scheduled to land in Singapore, the Singapore Civil Aviation Authority said in a
statement. The contact was lost about 42 minutes after takeoff from Indonesia's Surabaya airport, Hadi Mustofa, an official of the transportation ministry told Indonesia's MetroTV.

Chai another bomb blast again today the 3rd of November.This Boko Haram no d tire???News reaching me said the blast happened at Faydia Islamic school in Potiskum, Yobe State.No Unconfirmed number of fatality ,but i heard not less than 20 people feared dead and several other injured.

Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) fire outbreak

According to Dailypost News there was a fire outbreak at the 2nd floor of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) this afternoon although no lives was lost but passengers ran for their lives.The fire was put off immediately so our Airport is still safe and operational.

Abia Governor’s Son not an official of PDP.

It is no longer news that Mr.Chinedu Orji A.K.A (Ikuku) the popular  first son of the Abia state Governor is a well known and respected name in Abia state.Just recently news had it that he has been interfering with the affairs of the ruling party in his state mounting pressure on the leadership of the ( PDP) in the state to pave way for his emergence as the next Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly come 2015 but the Chief Press Secretary to Abia State Governor, Mr. Charles Ajunwa, has countered the news and allegations against his boss son.
His statement.."He had never at any time meddled in the affairs of the party as“he is not an official of PDP nor government official but a private individual who has always minded his own business.”In a press release made available he asked Abians to take the report as baseless and unfounded, urged members of the public to disregard it.
