Emir Of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Cancels all Eid Festivities

Because of the deadly attack yesterday by a female bomber the New Emir of Kano State, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi Cancelled all Eid festivities to make the  Muslim holy month of Ramadan next week.

Emir statement reads:
 “Given the critical situation we are in, the royal highness (of Kano state, Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi) has suspended all festivities associated with the eminence including the Durbar and other traditional events that are held during the Eid festival,”
