Joseph Yobo Quit Super Eagles

Joseph Yobo the Super Eagles captain, said Monday that he was quitting the senior national team shortly after crashing out of the ongoing 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.Yobo,scored an own goal to mark his 100th appearance for Nigeria.As we all know he has played for Nigeria for good 13 years and he has said that it is time to concentrate on his club football.His statement,
“It is time for me to give other younger players a chance. I have done my best in the 13 years that I have played for Super Eagles. I want to concentrate on my club football after recovery from injuries that almost ended my career”.
At least you marked your 100th appearance with a remarkable own goal.We wish you well.
