Mbaise Catholic War #SaveAhiaraDioces

Some concerned Mbaise Catholic Faithfuls wrote to me to post this article and let the Vatican hear about this and act fast before it is too late.
The crisis in Mbaise is lingering and will soon get to an extent that it will be an embarrassment to the Mbaise community and the Catholic community at large.
They are calling on Pope Francis,Cardinal Onaiyekan and Most Rev. Peter Okpalaeke to salvage this situation. The news about the recent ugly incident that happened at St. Brigid’s Catholic Church, Nnarambia, at about 7.15p.m is all over the world and it is not a good news and should not be heard that it happened in Mbaise.Priests of the diocese, members of the laity  have rejected the appointment of Monsignor Peter Ebere Okpalaeke, a priest from Awka Diocese, Anambra State, as the Bishop-elect of Ahiara Diocese in Imo State while some have accepted him. They are calling on the Holy See to act before it is too late. The Ahiara Diocese faithfuls are scared that the situation will get worse if nothing is done to resolve the problem quickly. #SaveAhiaraDioces

  1. This Bishop Okpalaeke should try another place since the Mbaise people does not want him.
