It has been confirmed that the Nigeria Minister of Petroleum Resources,Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke has been elected the first female president of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
She was elected this morning at the Ongoing 166th general Meeting in Vienna,Austria.She is to replace Libyan Vice Prime Minister for Corporations, Abdourhman Atahar Al-Ahirish.
Her election is with immediate effect and they are working to stabilize the dwindling price of crude oil.
