News reaching us have it that there is a heavy political battle to ensure who is the real leader in Nkwere LGA in Imo state between two political heavy weights of PDP and APC in that area.A fight happened between this Duo at Eziama Obire of Nkwere because of the on-going voters registration.There are two versions to this story which i do not know the one to believe.The first side being the side of the PDP state Chairman Nnamdi Anyaehie,It was said that he was on a ward round sensitization program to make sure that the good people of Nkwere participated in the Ongoing Voters registration and collection of Permanent Voters card without having any other mission in mind while the 2nd version of the story have it that he came with thugs to Eziama Obiri in Nkwere LGA to hijack the registration machines used for the voters registration to disenfranchise the people of that area.The mentioned community is a big strong hold of the APC because of the presence of the Honorable commissioner for lands Uche Nwosu.He was stopped from carrying out his mission and a fight began between the two political groups and their supporters but there was no loss of lives.This is real battle for supremacy in Nkwere.
