AWWW Marriage proposal gone awry

This happened in AMSTERDAM.What men do to convince women they love.According to Algemeen Dagblad newspaper an unidentified Dutchman tried  to engage her fiancee to a  romantic wedding proposal because he knows what ladies like.
The lover in the central town of Ijsselstein rented a crane, planning to descend in front of his girlfriend’s bedroom window first thing Saturday morning, play her a song and then pop the question. But was unlucky about his plan.Instead the crane toppled over, smashing a large hole in the neighbors’ roof.Nothing happened to the man.After the incident the girlfriend said “yes”.
