Lagos State repatriate More than 70 Beggars to the North

Some beggars has been sent back to the North by the Lagos state Government after being found on the street begging.Begging is a crime in Lagos state because is has been banned by the State Government.

The repatriated beggars are currently in Kano where they were dropped.The beggars complained that they were held in custody for months and exposed to unwarranted hardship before they were transported back to Kano.
