Dr Oby Ezekwesili donates $10, 000 award money to Chibok Community

Dr. Oby Ezekwesili,who was a Former Minister of Education  and now the arrow head of the Bring Back Our Girls group,donated cheerfully the sum of $10,000 to the Chibok Community.The money she donated was a prize money she was awarded by the Queen of Sweden, Silvia Renate, who recognized and awarded 10 people from around the world who advocate for Child's right.Instead of taking her own home she donated it to the community in assisting them have funds available to ensure the swift rehabilitation of the girls when they are rescued.

The Chairman of the Chibok community in Abuja, Tsambido Hosea-Abana has confirmed the donation into their account who stated that,

“I can confirm that this money has entered the designed account. We had about N1.1 million donated by people to assist in rehabilitating these girls when they are returned. I am also appealing to Nigerians to donate to the course of rebuilding the schools in Chibok as some of these schools have been destroyed when the Boko Haram attacked the area.”

Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, also took to twitter to express herself on what she regards as the most important reward by tweeting,

"Swedish C-10 award was conferred on me & 9 others who advocate for Child Rights around the world. I donated the Prize money to #ChibokGirls"
