NEMA sends relief Materials to victims of Gombe blast

According to a report by the News Agency of Nigeria on the incident that occurred on Friday night around 7. 30 p.m. in Arawa market of Gombe town where 6 people were feared dead and 10 sustained various degrees of injuries.

The Director-General of NEMA,Alhaji Sani Sidi, sent Gombe State Operations Officer, Alhaji Saidu Mini, to sympathise with the victims at the Specialist Hospital, Gombe, today.

“We are here on behalf of the Director-General, NEMA, Alhaji Sani Mohammed Sidi, to sympathise with victims of bomb-blast which occurred at Arawa market in Gombe metropolis around 7. 30 p.m.

“Already, the Federal Government had donated drugs for the previous victims and the drugs are still available in the hospital. We suggest that the same gesture should be extended to the recent victims,” he said.

He condemned the act and called on the public, to be vigilant, to enable them forestall future recurrence.
