Nike donates diamond-encrusted gold boots to Ronaldo

The popular footwear makers Nike has created their first ever micro-diamond encrusted gold football boots which they donated to Cristiano Ronaldo for winning his third Ballon d'Or.He is expected to wear today as they take on Atletico Madrid.The explained that the gift is a tribute 'to his remorseless work ethic'.Read their statement,

As the diamonds are refined & the details sharpened, tiny pieces are cut away, leaving micro-diamonds behind as evidence of work in progress.
