The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria ,His excellency Goodluck Jonathan yesterday the 14th of January in Abuja commissioned a cenotaph in remembrance of all military men and women who lost their lives in the North East while fighting the insurgency from 2011 to 2014.
The cenotaph, is described as an is an "empty tomb" or a monument erected in honor of a person or group of people whose remains are elsewhere.The Cenotaph was built at the National Military cemetery
