Víctor Valdés set to join Manchester United next season.

According to a report by the Guardian Victor Valdes is set to Join Manchester United to assist David De Gea next season.I believe this will come as a good news to all Manchester United fans who has been seeking for a support for their number 1 keeper David De Gea.
Read their report below,

"Víctor Valdés is set to join Manchester United on a minimum 18-month contract, with the Spaniard signed to provide cover for David De Gea as second-choice goalkeeper.

The club expects to make a formal announcement that Valdes will again join up with Louis van Gaal, after the Spaniard first worked with United’s manager when he was in charge of Barcelona, from 1997-2000.

The 32-year-old has been completing his rehabilitation from a serious knee injury at the club and will be acquired as a free agent. When asked in October whether he would consider signing Valdes if he returned to full fitness, Van Gaal gave a cryptic hint that it might be a possibility. “Manchester United has always their eyes open,” the United manager said.

The arrival will prompt some speculation that De Gea could leave the club, as he is attracting interest from Real Madrid and is yet to sign a new deal – his present terms expiring in the summer of 2016."
