IG of Police, Suleiman Abba sacked Jonathan appoints replacement

President Goodluck Jonathan  has sacked Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba this morning.
This was disclosed by the president’s spokesperson, Reuben Abati, in his tweeter account today.

No reason has been given for the sack. The President has also appointed Deputy Inspector General of police, Solomon Arase, to act on his behalf. The sack is with immediate effect.
