I am leaving ministry of Defence in capable hands - Defence Minister

Minister of Defence, Lt.-Gen. Aliyu Gusau (rtd), has stated that he is happy that he is leaving the ministry which has been under his watch since march 2014 in capable hands that will take the ministry to a greater height.He made the statement during a valedictory session held in his honour on Tuesday at the Ministry of Defence headquarters Abuja.

“I am happy that I met people who are dedicated to the service of the nation in the ministry of defence.

“As a retired military general and a highly-sought-after intelligence agent, I would often make my service available to the ministry of Defence and the country whenever I am consulted,” he assured.

He wished the incoming administration led by Muhammadu Buhari a success as they take over the mantle of leadership.
