President Goodluck signs Criminal Justice Bill into law

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,Goodluck Jonathan yesterday signed the Administration of Criminal Justice Bill 2015 into law.

The bill was passed by the Senate on the 5th of May to address the problems of delayed criminal trials.In an interview with the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity,Dr Reuben Abati,today he stated that,

“The president has signed the Administration of Criminal Justice Bill 2015.
“He signed it the same day he received it from the National Assembly. With that development, the bill is now an Act,’’
