Abia State is owing me N425m — Ex-Dep. Gov Akomas

Former Deputy Governor of Abia State Comrade Chris Akomas has come out to state how much he is being owed by the Abia State Government he served.

Please what did they buy from you?The Imo State Governor was also once quoted saying he is being owed N16 Billion. Bikonu what are you people selling that your states bought. When you are the people controlling the states allocation and disburse monies.Well continue reading what he explained that led to the debt as explained to journalists in Umuahia.

“As at the time I resigned, the state government was owing me N425million because I was not paid
for a long time. It is just that  I am not the noise making type. After leaving office, they are owing me pension and other entitlements. They have not paid me up till now. It has been a matter for the media. I have been in court for it and we are following it.

“But one thing I know is that the money will be paid because I worked for Abia people. No individual can stop me from getting the money. If I don’t get it today, it will be someday because I worked for it and will get it.”He said.
