Lawmaker says fracas in House of Representatives is embarrassing

Yesterday the House of Representatives members put the country to shame by exchanging blows in the lower chamber over election of principal officers positions in the lower chamber.A house member Ajayi Adeyinka representing representing Odo Itin/Ifelodun/Boripe Federal Constituency in Osun state have come out to condemn the act and said it was embarrassing.In his statement to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) he stated,

“It is really embarrassing; people are beginning to understand that democracy will be about differences.
“We would learn, as times go on, how to resolve our differences without throwing tantrums or causing rancour; that will be the next stage.“
